Return Of The Magnificent Seven Suite
Music by Elmer Bernstein
Without actually writing much new music for this movie suite from 1966, Mr. Berstein re-worked his original score from The Magnificent Seven to come up with what is agruably the better of the two. We are rocked by the original motif but quickly move into other emotionally charged cues that lightly utilize the original while breaking new ground. This is probably what Bernstein wanted to acheive from the outset, but of course, we'll never really know. With a timing of 22:10, compare this to the original and see which one you enjoy more.
