Les Miserables Suite
Music by Basil Poledouris
Many of the best motion pictures are about epic events from history. The more dramatic the event, the more dramatic the picture and for those of us who live for the music, we are treated to majestic scores that transcend the words and scenes while completing the whole package. Well, Mr. Poledouris stepped up to the podium to deliver a sweeping movie suite from this 1998 dramatic picture that is both lushly orchestrated as well as dramatically inspiring. As usual, I refuse to discuss the motion picture, leaving that for others, but if there were any short-comings, it can not be blamed on the music. With a timing of 23:31, if you haven't ever heard this, then it is time! All I can say is, that I hope that you really enjoy! -MJ
