Far and Away Suite
Music by John Williams
Although this motion picture is about many locales, much of it also takes place in New York City, which is keeping with our current theme. I think that it is a good thing that this is unmistakably John Williams, since this movie suite has a lyrical main theme (which is reminiscent of the legendary Raiders theme) that puts the listener into the old-Irish frame of mind of the main characters, while sweeping us along the musical journey as it winds it's way through the steady paces of one form or another. If you haven't heard this music before, you must add it to your library. With a timing of 21:34, this seems to it grows on you from one listen to the next and before you know it, you've found another movie suite that you love. I really hope you enjoy.
