For the sequel, Mr. Silvestri brought his fine scoring to this action packed work of fantasy. With a single theme that invokes the sounds of ancient Egypt and is reminiscent of the first score theme by Jerry Goldsmith, we are transported into a singular world that is filled with lush strings and thunderous horns. Maybe a bit overused, the theme never lets us forget exactly what were listening to, and that is a good thing. With a timing of almost 29 minutes, this will keep you occupied.
