Last Samurai, The Suite
Music by Hans Zimmer
While longing for another time, this music packs an emotional wallop as it uses synthesizers along with Japanese instruments to paint us a picture of the end of an era. Mr. Zimmer drops us into the center of this musical tapestry so that we can experience the longing for a better time, a thought so fitting to us here and now. Although this will be the last movie suite by Mr. Zimmer for a bit, with an output of over 65 motion picture scores, you certainly haven't seen nor heard the last of him. With a timing of 22 and a half minutes, I hope you really enjoy. -MJ
