American Gangster Movie Suite

We have another gangster-crime movie suite from 2007, penned by Mr. Streitenfeld in an unusual style that sounds more like the western genre than crime genre. With very little orchestral cues, by utilizing guitars, synthesizers, plenty of percussion and an offbeat funky twang, this is eerie, but in the same weird way that Morricone's music is. With a timing of 18:40 this grows on you right from the first note. Sure hope you enjoy. -MJ
