Music by Danny Elfman
We can all agree that Danny Elfman is one prolific composer. He also experiments with sound, so much of his work is unusually brilliant even when it is a bit different. The legendary collaboration with director Tim Burton is only equaled by John Williams and Steven Speilberg, so there are many, many movie scores out there. Today we are offering one of Mr. Elfman's unique pieces which is not purely symphonic, since there is much use of synthetic (electronic) sounds blended in with the orchestra. Still, this movie suite delivers a sonic punch that will make you listen over and over again. Well, at least it did me. With a timing of 28 minutes, it is just about the right length.
