Charge of The Light Brigade, The Suite (1968)

Given the days & times when this was composed in 1967-68, we may forgive Mr. Addison for carrying some simple patriotic themes throughout this movie suite. In the original score, there were unusual moments of yelling from a chorus of voices that was mixed in with the orchestra, that simply was bizarre. Still after much perseverance and editing, we end up with a movie suite that if not very composition happy, it still feels like the themes flow easily from beginning to end. If you never heard this before, I am presenting this as a comparison to the earlier work of the same name. With a timing of 18:09 I hope you enjoy this dated classic. -MJ
