Game Of Thrones Season Three Suite

Game of Thrones Season Three Suite
Music by Ramin Djawadi

In the third installment for this 2013 mini-series, Mr. Djawadi has become introspective as he weaves his haunting notes of betrayal and dispair. So much of this music was simply mood, yet we were able to carve out a semblance of a movie suite that still invokes plenty of emotion. With a timing of 20:31 we are left with a short yet concise feeling of longing emptiness; which was nothing like the previous G.O.T. suites brought to us. Still, I hope you enjoy this and share my hope that next season will bring us amazing themes as well as new reasons to listen.  -MJ

Game of Thrones Season Two Suite

Game of Thrones Season Two Suite
Music by Ramin Djawadi

Utilizing many of the same nerve wrenching formulaic themes as in the first season, Mr. Djawadi has returned with a suite from the fantasy mini-series that rarely slows to take a breath. Exhaustive percussion and explosive horns keep the listener from faltering as we are taken for another ride into the world of dragons, swords and wannabe Kings. With a timing of 28:36 you will wonder where the time went. Hope you enjoy.  -MJ

Game Of Thrones Season One - Movie Suite

Game of Thrones Suite
Music by Ramin Djawadi

If we can bend the rules a bit, we have a suite from a recent series that is fits all the critera for one of our movie suites. There is plenty of orchestral fanfare, thunderous percusion, and when the cues are fashioned together, they form a cohesive composition that is exciting to hear. If you watched the series, then you will want this suite. On the other hand if you did not see the series, you may still want to give this a listen, because I think you'll be glad you did. With a timing of 27:40, I hope you enjoy this.  -MJ
