Captain America The First Avenger Suite
Music by Alan Silvestri
Hang on, because even though this movie suite starts out slowly subdued, it quickly picks up steam. The beginning reminds us of any other war picture with rising drums that build into the horns that are upbeat and tempestuous. When the main theme kicks in after a couple minutes, it slows us down for a brief moment before we suddenly surge into a driving intensity. The conclusion to this suite is "classic" Silvestri with blazing trumpets and the promise of more to come in the near future (a bit like Back To The Future). With a timing of 27:28, you'll be certain to enjoy this one. -MJ
