Hawaii Movie Suite

With every moment that passes, many of the classic movie suites become harder and harder to come by. This suite is from 1966; an epic motion picture with a story about the first days of the American colonization of the exotic islands of Hawaii. The music is quite majestic, with themes that evoke images of towering volcanoes and lush jungles. Very difficult to get, Mr. Bernstein chose to keep the bombastic flourishes, yet the composition still has a light feel that we rarely hear in today's movie suites. With a timing of just 30:00, I hope you'll enjoy revisiting this suite many times in the future. -MJ
