War Horse Movie Suite
Music by John Williams
Recently this current 2011 Academy Award nominated music shows Mr. Williams again at his best while he evokes dramatic vision through his batton. This movie suite starts off slow, then builds as it takes some getting used to, but as it develops, all of the forms, the cues and themes presented seem to meld together into a seamless composition both with highs, lows and that "je ne sais quoi" that is so hard for composers to get.
