The Aviator Suite
Music by Howard Shore
Since the late seventies Mr. Shore has contributed many excellent motion picture scores for prosperity. Hidden on the shelf by the Lord of the Rings and so many others, this short movie suite offers us another glimpse into the musical mind of a master composer. With a timing of 11:20, this is more like a statement of intent, with a full orchestra playing hard and fast, yet once you listen, you'll be impressed with the driving sound that is unlike any other suite that I have listened to.
