The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Suite

The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Suite
Music by Jeremy Soule

Ah yes, we have another quandary. Does a video-game soundtrack suite constitute or even come close to a movie suite? If we showcase a video game suite, but then call it a movie suite, can we get away with offering it here to our listeners? I say sure! Why not? This music was given to me and after repeated listening sessions (after all there are many CD's with over 4 hours of music) we have a suite that attempts to bridge the narrowing chasm between motion picture and video gamer's paradise. With plenty of synthesizer, orchestra and a bit of choral voices thrown in for good measure, we have a suite that forces you to listen, and as you do, something happens that is become lost in the music. With a long running time of 41:50 this does take an effort to listen in one sitting, but I think you'll really enjoy this in bits and pieces or all at once. Oh yeah, for the next post we'll be back to movie suites. I do promise.  -MJ
