Exodus Suite

This classic movie suite comes to us from the motion picture score that won the Oscar for best score in 1960, the Golden Globe for best score in 1961 and the Grammy in 1961 for the best soundtrack. With all that pedigree, one would expect there must be a gem hidden here and there is. The rousing main theme sounds with horns a-blazing at the opening and this theme is carried throughout the suite in a variety of ways. That is great since the theme is so memorable as it weaves its way towards the final conclusion. With a timing of 16:47, you might want to give this classic a listen.
